ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided a ski pole disk asymmetrical with respect to the pole and including a sleeve-like part to be received on the pole and a peripheral frame with supporting lands within the frame. A separate peripheral part is removably attachable to the disk, and has the effect of increasing the bearing surface of the disk against the snow base. Suitable prongs are utilized to removably attach the separate peripheral part to the permanent disk.
