ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A magnetic disk mainenance and indexing apparatus is set forth herein that comprises a booklike cover on the outside having a spine with living hinges holding the covers together. Interiorly of the booklike cover is a pivotal pocket that can be moved to an upright position in an easel configuration, on pins to which it is hinged to the booklike cover. The pivotal pocket incorporates a plurality of aligned ledges, ridges, or splines that hold a plurality of disk or magnetic media packages in stepped relationship to expose them as they extend therefrom. The foregoing configuration with the ridges or ledges provides slip track slots to maintain the precision flatness of the magnetic media and at the same time allow easy access for media indexing.
