An apparatus arranged for dispensing a liquid, said apparatus comprising a cavity (2) having an inlet (3) connectable to a liquid source operable for supplying liquid under pressure to the cavity (2) , and a number of outlets (5) through which the liquid is discharged to a substrate which is provided below the apparatus in order to receive the liquid, each outlet (5) is individually communicating with the cavity (2) through separate passages (4,11,15) that connect individually to the top of the cavity (2).
