ABSTRACT Dispenser for the single discharge of portions of tablets, paste or similar substances comprising a tubular casing at one end of which is a discharge opening a pressure bottom being carried in the other end for displacement of the discharge substance in the direction of the discharge opening. The pressure bottom can be advanced step-by-step in the direction of the discharge opening by the action of an operating handle positioned near the dis- charge opening and of at least one transport rack, and is blocked against retraction by at least one support rack located at the inner wall of the tube casing. The transport rack (12) and the support rack (20) are mounted on a common insert piece (21) of the tube casing (1). The transport rack is connected to the insert piece by strips that act as restoring springs.
