ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A dispenser for introducing a treatment preparation, adapted to be brought into a container through a feed opening, into a liquid surrounding the container through several outlet openings therein, in exact accordance with the particular application, more particularly over prolonged periods. The outlet openings are formed by slot-like interstices in parts of an otherwise closed container between a number of thin plates and/or films arranged in the form of layers above one another. The slot-like interstices between the individual plates and/or films are of such a size that, depending on the particular plate and/or film materials, the surrounding liquid is transported by capillary effect into the container to dissolve a powder-form treatment preparation, and to transport the treatment preparation thus dissolved or a liquid treatment preparation introduced into the container, from the interior of the container to the surrounding liquid.
