ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A child-resistant threaded nozzle assembly for a manually actuated pump dispenser is locked in it s discharge closed position as internal lugs on the nozzle engage external detents on a forward end of the dispenser body for locking the nozzle in a discharge closed position. Upon squeezing the nozzle skirt, the tugs are shifted radially outwardly to disengage from the detents to facilitate unthreading the nozzle to its discharge open position.
