A dispenser is provided having an assembly made up of a container having an outlet at a predetermined first level and a reservoir extending upwardly from the first level. The reservoir includes an air relief opening above the first level and the assembly is provided with an actuator to cause liquid to flow from the containerinto the reservoir and out through a passageway while air is trapped in the reservoir above the first level. Any gradual increase in temperature will cause air from the reservoir to be displaced through the air relief opening to minimize the risk oftemperature driven dispensing.
