A sealing and dispensing closure for the outlet opening of a package, such as a flexible plastic bottle (12) containing a consumable beverage. The closure comprises a closure base (20) which is threaded onto the outlet opening (14) of the bottle, and a removable overcap (40) which is pivotally connected to the closure base. The closure base includes a spout (25) having a self-sealing dispensing valve (28) therein which is movable from a lowered closed position to a raised open position by an increased pressure in the bottle resulting from the squeezing of the bottle. The valve is positioned at a recessed location within the spout so as to preclude access to the valve by the consumer when the valve is lifted to its raised open position, and the overcap includes a post (50) which seats in the upper end of the spout when the overcap is mounted on the closure base, and so as to form a hermetically sealed chamber above the valve which prevents the valve from lifting to its raised position in the event the bottle is inadvertently squeezed.
L'invention concerne une fermeture permettant d'assurer l'étanchéité et la distribution au niveau de l'orifice d'un emballage, du type bouteille flexible en plastique (12) contenant une boisson. La fermeture comprend une base (20) filetée sur l'orifice (14) de la bouteille, et un surboucheur amovible (40) relié pivotant à la base. Cette base comporte un bec verseur (25) à valve de distribution auto-étanche (28) passant d'une position abaissée fermée à une position élevée ouverte suite à une augmentation de pression dans la bouteille qui résulte d'une compression de la bouteille. La valve est située à l'intérieur d'une cavité dans le bec verseur, de manière à empêcher tout accès par l'utilisateur lorsque cette valve est soulevée en position ouverte, et le surboucheur comprend un montant (50) qui se place dans l'extrémité supérieure du bec verseur lorsque le surboucheur est placé sur la base, de manière à former au-dessus de la valve un compartiment hermétiquement clos empêchant la valve de s'élever en position ouverte au cas où une compression serait exercée sur la bouteille par inadvertance.
