ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A wide-mouthed container is provided with a spout opening formed in one side of the upper portion of the upright wall of the container and a similarly spouted cup-like cover complementary in shape to the upper extent of the container with the perimeter of the cover being slightly larger than that of the container so that the cover slips over the top of the container to close both the mouth and spout of the container. The container is suitable for pouring and measuring loose granular or flaky materials.
