Abstract: A liquid dispensing machine includes a syringe pump, a tank for the liquid, a displacement mechanism for displacing the pump between the tank and a container, and a piston displacement mechanism for displacing a piston of the pump. A weigher measures the weight of the tank and liquid therein. A drainage system drains the liquid from the tank, while a supply system supplies liquid to the tank. A control device controls displacement of the syringe pump and its piston, and actuates the supply system and the drainage system as well as reading the measurement output signals from the weigher. The result is improved flexibility and accuracy of the amount of liquid dispensed.
