In combination, a dispensing table (10) and a cushioning conversion machine (12) which is slidably mounted to the table (10) The tibb (10) includes a substantially horizontal work platform (14) and the machine (12) is situated below the platfomm (14) The cushioning conversion machine (10) includes conversion assemblies (50, 52, 54, 56, 58) which convert stock material (S) into a cushioning product (P)- The cushioning conversion machine (12) is slidable to an operating position whereat the cushioning product (P) is deposited on the work platform (14) during operation of the machine, Preferably, the machine (12) is also slidable to an upstream position whereat its upstream portion projects outwardly from the table (10) and loading and threading procedures can be easily performed. Additionally or alternatively, the machine (12) is preferably slidable to a downstream position whereat its downstream portion projects outwardly from the table (10) and inspection and maintenance may be conveniently conducted on certain components of the machine (12)
L'invention concerne une table de distribution (10) ainsi qu'une machine (12) de conversion de produit de calage combinées, laquelle est montée coulissante sur la table (10). La table (10) comprend une plateforme de tavail horizontale (14) sous laquelle se trouve la machine (12). Ladite machine (10) de conversion de produit de calage comprend des ensembles de conversion (50, 52, 54, 56, 58) transformant le matériau de base (S) en un produit de calage (P). La machine (12) de conversion de produit de calage coulisse en une position opérationnelle au niveau de laquelle le produit de calage (P) est déposé sur la plateforme (14) de travail, pendannt le fonctionnement de la machine. Ladite machine (12) est également, de préférence, coulissante jusqu'à une position amont au niveau de laquelle une partie amont est saillante à l'extérieur de la table (10), le chargement et le défilement s'effectuant facilement. De plus, ou dans un autre mode de réalisation, la machine (12) est de préférence coulissante jusqu'à une position aval au niveau de laquelle sa partie aval est saillante à l'extérieur de la table (10), et de ce fait l'inspection ainsi que l'entretien peuvent être effectués aisément sur certaines parties de la machine (12).
