2103238 9220616 PCTABS00017 A dispensing valve includes a body (26) defining a passage (77) with first and second openings (55, 73). The body has an outer surface (74) with a lock surface (82) and an open surface (94). A plunger (28) is slidably disposed within the passage for movement between a first position wherein a seal is formed between the plunger and body for preventing fluid flow between the first and second openings, and a second position wherein fluid flow is permitted between the first and second openings. An arm (110) from the plunger includes a projection (122) slidably engageable with outer surface (74). Arm (110) includes biasing structure for biasing the projection against the outer surface (74). Projection (122) is engageable with lock surface (82) when the plunger (28) is in the first position and is engageable with the open surface (94) when the plunger (28) is in the second position.
