A composition of the reaction product of (a) an isobutylene-diene copolymer having thereon groups containing carboxylic acid functionality or reactive equivalent thereof, derived from an &agr;,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic compound; and (b) an amine component comprising at least one aromatic amine containing at least one N-H group capable of condensing with said carboxylic acid functionality, is a useful dispersant viscosity modifier.

La présente invention concerne une composition du produit de réaction (a) d'un copolymère isobutylène-diène possèdent des groupes contenant une fonctionnalité acide carboxylique ou un équivalent réactif de celle-ci, dérivé d'un composé carboxylique insaturé A,B et, (b) d'un composant amine comprenant au moins un amine aromatique contenant au moins un groupe N-H capable de condensation avec cette fonctionnalité acide carboxylique. Cette composition convient comme modificateur de viscosité de dispersant.
