PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION L'invention concerne des boues de forage aqueuses, caractérisées en ce qu'elles contiennent, à titre de dispersants, un copolymère acrylique hydrosoluble de masse molé- culaire comprise entre 500 et 10000 et résultant de la copolymérisation de 75 à 99 moles % d'acide acrylique et méthacrylique dans un rapport molaire compris entre 0,15/1 et 6/1,et de 1 à 25 moles % d'un sel soluble dans l'eau de l'acide allyl- et/ou méthallylsulfonique. Ces boues de forage sont non toxiques et insensibles à l'environnement salin, elles ont une excellente efficacité à faible concentration et elles sont stables à des températures pouvant atteindre et même dépasser 150°C.
