ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a new series of disperse- reactive dyes which are employed for dyeing and printing polyester-cellulose blended material in only blended step. The dyes of this invention have the general formula D - [SO2 - C2H4OCOR]n wherein: D is the residue of the molecule of a dye or the azo, anthraquinone, methinic or quinophthalonic series, free from solutilizing groups such as the sulphonic and the carboxylic groups; n is a number equal to 1 or 2; R is an alkyl C1 -C8, optionally substituted by halogen or CN; an alkenyl C2 -C8, optionally substituted by halogen or CN; an alkoxyl C1 -C4; a cycloalkoxyl; HN-alkyl C1 -C4; HN-halogen alkyl C1 -C4; N(alkyl C1 -C4)2. Methods of preparing the dyes of this and of applicating said on polyester - cellulose blended material are described as well.
