A water dispersible pellet and method of producing same comprising: micronized elemental sulphur with 80% of particles less than 30 microns, a binder component in the amount ranging from 0.95% to 95% by weight; a surfactant in the amount ranging from 0,05% to 10% by weight; a soluble salt present in the amount ranging from 0.05% to 95% by weight; ben-tonite clay in the amount ranging from 0.05% to 95% by weight. Tthe pellet having a mean particle domain size and a mean crush-ing strength, all in a form such that within a few minutes of contact with water the pellet disperses into particles with more than 10% of said particles passing through a 50 mesh (US Standard Size) screen.
L'invention porte sur des pastilles dispersibles dans l'eau et sur leur procédé de production comprenant : du soufre élémentaire micronisé dont 80 % des particules sont inférieures à 30 micromètres, un composant liant en quantité allant de 0,95 % à 95 % en poids ; un tensioactif en quantité allant de 0,05 % à 10 % en poids ; un sel soluble présent en quantité allant de 0,05 % à 95 % en poids ; de l'argile bentonite en quantité allant de 0,05 % à 95 % en poids ; les pastilles ayant une taille moyenne de domaine des particules et une résistance moyenne à l'écrasement, étant toutes sous une forme telle qu'en quelques minutes de contact avec de l'eau les pastilles se dispersent en particules, plus de 10 % desdites particules passant dans un crible de 50 mesh (taille normale US).
