A B S T R A C T Dispirocyclopropane carboxylic esters of the general formula:- Image wherein m and n, which may be the same or different, each denotes an integer from 2 to 5; R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a cyano or alkynyl group; and R2 represents an optionally hydrogenated phthalimido group or a phenyl or furyl group optionally substituted by an aralkyl or aryloxy group. These compounds have insecticidal acaricidal and tickicidal activity.
