A displacement sensing, system (20) including an oscillator circuit (22) having a characteristic frequency which varies as a function of a magnetic field in the vicinity thereof, an element (24) whose position relative to the oscillator circuit (22) is variedby a displacement, the element (24) being operative to vary the magnetic field in the vicinity of the oscillator circuit (22) as afunction of the displacement and circuitry for sensing a change of frequency of the oscillator circuit (22) over time (delta f/delta t) and for providing an output indication when the change in frequency of the oscillator circuit (22) over time exceeds a threshold.
L'invention concerne un système de détection de déplacement comprenant un circuit oscillateur doté d'une fréquence caractéristique variant en fonction d'un champ magnétique environnant; un élément dont la position par rapport au circuit oscillateur est modifiée par un déplacement devant être détecté, lequel élément permet de modifier le champ magnétique aux alentours dudit circuit oscillateur en fonction du déplacement; un ensemble de circuits permettant, d'une part, de détecter une modification de fréquence du circuit oscillateur dans le temps ( LAMBDA f/ LAMBDA t) et, d'autre part de fournir une indication de sortie lorsque la modification de la fréquence du circuit oscillateur dépasse un seuil dans le temps.
