A display apparatus (12) has a roll of film with multiple still images disposed along the roll of film. The roll of film is scrollable by one or more electric motors (54a, 54b) to display one or more of the still images on the roll of film at a visual display location. The display apparatus is capable of oscillating desired images on display at the visual display location so as to attract the eye of the observer.
