ABSTRACT A cardboard display box having first and second cardboard sides meeting at an edge and defining a window opening wrapping around said edge. A semi-rigid synthetic plastic sheet is located in said window opening overlapping portions of said first and second cardboard sides adjacent said window opening and secured thereto. There is a first fold line in said plastic sheet adjacent said first cardboard side and extending from said window opening to the end of said plastic sheet, a second fold line in said plastic sheet adjacent said second cardboard side and extending from said window opening to the end of said plastic sheet and a third fold line in said plastic sheet between said first and second fold lines and extending from said window opening to the end of said plastic sheet so that when the box is in a folded position, the portion of plastic sheet between said first and third fold lines projects away from said first cardboard side and the portion of plastic sheet between said second and third fold lines projects away from said second cardboard side.
