ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: An erectable display box comprising a foldable blank comprised of an opaque sheet and a rigid plastic sheet, said opaque sheet having an opening therein, and said rigid plastic sheet extending across and covering said opening and being fixed to said opaque sheet along edges of the opening, said opaque sheet having fold lines formed therein for erecting the box, said rigid plastic sheet having at least one fold line formed therein and within said opening, and which forms a corner of the erected box, said fold line in said rigid plastic sheet being in alignment with a fold line in said opaque sheet, and a notch in said rigid plastic sheet at each end of its fold line, each said notch extending toward said opening and at least to an edge of the opening. And a method of manufacturing such a box.
