In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a graphical user interface which displays a first window (224) having a selection portion (225- 1) selectable by a user and which displays a second window (211), which is larger than and totally covering the first window (224), when the selection portion (225-1) is selected by the user. The first window (224) is displayed at a certain fixed position on the display and the second window (211) is transparent so that the first window (224) can be seen through the second window (211) displayed in front.
