A dispensing display has a picture frame and an article-holding reservoir. The problem with display devices is the need to provide a dispenser which is simple to use. The display device has an article-holding reservoir (18) disposed within a picture frame (14). An article dispensing chute (30) is associated with the picture frame (14) for dispensing articles (66) from the reservoir (18). A dispenser (50) is controlled by an article-holding device (58) which is configured to dispense one or more articles (66) at a time.
