A display device has an article dispenser (64) having front and rear opposite edges (80, 82) and designed to support articles. The dispenser includes a plurality of parallel tracks extending from the front edge (80) of the dispenser toward the rear edge (82). Each track receives a row of articles (B0- B8) for movement along that track. The dispenser also includes a diverting pathway extending substantially transversely of the tracks. The pathway interconnects the rear ends of the tracks and receives articles for movment therealong so that articles are allowed to be transferred from the pathway to each track and vice versa. The dispenser further includes a guide member (84, 98, 108, 126, 152, 216) disposed adjacent to the rear end of one of the tracks. When the articles in the track associated with the guide member are moved backwards along that track, they are brought into contact one after another with the front surface (90, 110) of the guide member and guided laterally along the front surface into the pathway.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif de présentation qui comporte un distributeur d'articles (64) ayant des arêtes opposées avant et arrière (80, 82) et conçu pour supporter des articles. Le distributeur possède plusieurs pistes parallèles allant de l'arête avant (80) à l'arête arrière (82) du distributeur. Chaque piste reçoit une rangée d'articles (B0-B8) qui sont destinés à se déplacer le long de cette piste. Le distributeur comprend aussi une voie de déviation qui est sensiblement perpendiculaire aux pistes. Cette voie relie entre elles les extrémités arrière des pistes et elle reçoit des articles qui doivent se déplacer le long de ces pistes, de telle sorte que les articles peuvent être tranférés de ladite voie à chaque piste et inversement. Le distributeur comprend en outre un élément de guidage (84, 98, 108, 126, 152, 216) placé à côté de l'extrémité arrière de l'une des pistes. Quand les articles qui se trouvent sur la piste correspondant à l'élément de guidage sont déplacés vers l'arrière sur cette piste, ils entrent en contact, l'un après l'autre, avec la surface avant (90, 110) de l'élément de guidage et ils sont guidés latéralement, le long de la surface avant, pour aller dans la voie de déviation.
