ABSTRACT: An electrochromic display medium is present between two supporting plates. One supporting plate has, a TFT-ma?rix, in which each TFT circuit comprises two transistors and a capacitor. The second transistor of each TFT circuit is connected, via apertures in an insul- ating layer, to a conductive layer provided on one sup- porting plate. A transparent common counter electrode is provided on the other supporting plate.
