A display fixture is provided for holding and displaying merchandise for sale. The display system includes a flat display panel (12) and a pair of side walls (26) extending from the edges (16) of the display panel (12). The display panel (12) includes one means for attaching a merchandise shelf, hook or the like for holding and displaying the merchandise. The display panel and side walls are integral with each other, are made of sheet metal, and have outwardly projecting support channels extending length of the panel. The held and displayed merchandise has a weight that is substantially all transferred vertically downwards through the display fixture system such that the system requires relatively small holders to keep it upright.

Un système de présentoir permet de recevoir et d'exposer une marchandise à vendre. Il comporte un panneau de présentoir (12) et deux parois (26) latérales qui partent des bords (16) du panneau de présentoir (12). Ce dernier comporte un dispositif permettant de fixer une étagère destinée à la marchandise ou un crochet ou un élément comparable permettant d'exposer celle-ci. Le panneau de présentoir et les parois latérales sont formés d'un seul tenant par une feuille métallique et des ergots de support font saillie le long de ce panneau. L'essentiel du poids de la marchandise exposée est transféré verticalement vers le bas par ce système de présentoir qui n'exige donc que des dispositifs de maintien relativement petits pour rester droit.
