A display package comprising an oblong holder (1) which is foldable along fold lines (4, 5) perpendicular to the lengthwise direction thereof. The fold lines (4, 5) define panels (12, 13, 14) having substantially the same shape. The lower or back surface of the holder (1) is covered with a transparent sheet forming a pouch for containing information. One end of the holder comprises a hanger portion (7) whereas the other end has a pocket (2) for holding a case (3) or plate containing or supporting a compact disc. Said package is designed to be hung with an eye-catching effect such that the material on the disc can be seen quickly. Although said package is suitable for any kind of compact disc, it is particularly designed for compact discs containing pictures.

Cet emballage présentoir comporte un support (1) de forme oblongue pliable selon des plis perpendiculaires (4, 5) à sa longueur. Ces plis (4, 5) définissent des volets (12, 13, 14) de forme sensiblement identique. La face inférieure ou dos du support (1) est recouverte d'une feuille transparente de manière à constituer une enveloppe destinée à contenir de l'information. A l'une de ses extrémités le support comporte des moyens (7) pour le suspendre, tandis qu'à l'autre extrémité il comporte une poche (2) destinée à recevoir une boîte (3) ou une platine contenant ou supportant un disque compact. Cet emballage est conçu pour être suspendu de manière à constituer un effet attractif permettant de voir rapidement la matière contenue sur le disque. Bien que cet emballage puisse être avec n'importe quel disque compact, il est plus particulièrement conçu pour les disques compacts contenant des photos.
