The display panel has an outer wall to which a sign may be attached and an inner wall having a fastener composed of resiliently deformable material. Formed in the fastener is a slit defined by a pair of elongated longitudinally extending spaced apart edges between which an outer plate of a conventional door handle is received. The edges of the slit are biased by the deformable material into contact with the outer plate throughout substantially their entire length with resulting resistance to removal of the plate from between the edges. The plate may however be removed by the application of a force opposed to the bias of the resilient material for causing the slit to widen. Once widened, the outer plate may be removed from between the edges.
