The present invention relates to a display system for displaying a past track of the own ship, the present position of the ship and a future predicted track of the ship. A display system according to the present invention comprises speed detection means (5) for detecting the speed of a ship, bearing detection means (7) for detecting a bearing of the ship with respect to a reference bearing, rate of turn measuring means (6) for detecting the turning speed of the ship's hull, storing means (3) for successively storing ship's speeds outputted from the speed detection means and ship's bearings outputted from the bearing detection means, coordinate-data generating means (1) for generating coordinate data representing a desired pattern based on the ship's speeds and the ship's bearings read out from the storing means and the turning speed of the ship's hull outputted from the rate of turn measuring means in order to display a past track of the ship and a futrue predicted track of the ship with the pattern. coordinate-data storing means (10) for storing the coordinate data. and an indicator (13) for displaying the signals read from the coordinate-data storing means.
