The invention concerns a display system for an aircraft. The display system (1) comprises means for automatic reconfiguration (4), upon detecting failure of a screen (E1 to En) of said system, for displaying the image which is associated with the failed screen, on an associated valid screen having lesser priority based on priority rules.
