A display matrix is provided for forming a composite image from a series of sub-images. The display matrix includes a plurality of display elements, each display element including a pixel (16), and a display circuit (18) electrically connected to the pixel. Each display circuit includes a plurality of memory cells (20A, 20B), and a selector (20) for outputting to the pixel data from one memory cell at a time where the plurality of memory cells (20A, 20B) are non-addressably connected to the selector (20).

L'invention concerne une matrice d'affichage servant à former une image composite à partir d'une série de sous-images. La matrice d'affichage comporte plusieurs éléments d'affichage, chaque élément d'affichage comprenant un pixel (16), et un circuit d'affichage (18) connecté électriquement au pixel. Chaque circuit d'affichage comporte plusieurs cellules de mémoire (20A, 20B), et un sélecteur (20) permettant de produire vers le pixel des données provenant d'une cellule de mémoire à la fois, les multiples cellules de mémoire (20A, 20B) étant connectées de manière non adressable au sélecteur (20).
