DISPLAY UNIT FOR ELEVATOR WAITING TIME ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed is a waiting time display apparatus which indicates the waiting time required for passangers before a car arrives at the elevator hall of each floor. A forecast waiting time display unit is provided for each car, and comprises a common waiting time indication section for indicating the forecast waiting times for up and down directions, and a direction indication section for indicating the moving direction of the car. When up and down hall calls for the same floor are allotted to the same car, the waiting time for the same direction as the direction of the present car operation is selected and indicated on the common indication section, while the particular direction is indicated on the direction indication section.
