A method for displaying a chemical reaction path diagram by using an apparatus having an input device, a display device and a storage device. The method comprises the steps of generating a chemical reaction path diagram on the basis of input data and displaying it on the display device; extracting an end compound accompanied by a non-displayed adjacent reaction from the compounds constituting the reaction path diagram and displaying a guide mark corresponding to the non-displayed adjacent reaction on the display device; and scrolling the reaction path diagram so that the non-displayed compounds constituting the non-displayed adjacent reaction indicated by the selected guide mark can be displayed on the display device.

Ce procédé permettant d'afficher le diagramme du déroulement d'une réaction chimique à l'aide d'un appareil comportant un dispositif d'entrée, un dispositif d'affichage et un dispositif de stockage, comprend les étapes suivantes: on génère un diagramme du déroulement de la réaction chimique sur la base des données d'entrée et on l'affiche sur le dispositif d'affichage; on extrait un composé final accompagné par une réaction voisine non affichée à partir des composés constituant le diagramme et on affiche sur le dispositif d'affichage un repère correspondant à la réaction voisine non affichée; on fait défiler le diagramme de façon que les composés non affichés constituant la réaction voisine non affichée indiquée par le repère sélectionné puissent être affichés sur le dispositif d'affichage.
