In a method of displaying a printed image on an irregular substrate, a polymer film having a glass transition temperature of at least 40°C is provided. The polymer film has an adhesive layer disposed on a second side of the film. An image may be printed on a first side of the film with a solvent-based ink. The adhesive layer may be positioned against the irregular substrate and the polymer film may be heated. The heated polymer film is pressed against the irregular substrate. In another method, an adhesive layer may be disposed on a polymer film subsequent to printing an image on the polymer film.

Dans un procédé d'affichage d'image imprimée sur un substrat irrégulier, l'invention concerne un film polymère possédant une température de transition vitreuse d'au moins 40 °C. Ce film polymère possède une couche d'adhésif placée sur une seconde face de ce film. Une image peut être imprimée sur une première face du film avec une encre à base de solvant. La couche d'adhésif peut être placée contre le substrat irrégulier et le film polymère peut être chauffé. Le film polymère chauffé est pressé contre le substrat irrégulier. Dans un autre procédé, une couche d'adhésif peut être placée sur un film polymère après l'impression d'une image sur ce film polymère.
