This invention is a disposable absorbent article (20) for wearing adjacent a body discharge area having a longitudinal centerline (0-0), and a lateral centerline (A-A) orthogonal thereto, and defining longitudinal and lateral directions respectively. The disposable absorbent article includes a liquid pervious top sheet (24), a back sheet (26) joined to the top sheet, and an absorbent core (28) intermediate the back sheet and the top sheet. The article is substantially flat prior to use. The disposable absorbent article further includes a member (46) for inducing forming or bending of the article into a tridimensional structure while being worn by a user. The member (46) is activated by body fluids or body heat.

L'invention concerne un article absorbant jetable (20) destiné à être porté à proximité d'une zone d'évacuation corporelle et présentant une ligne centrale longitudinale (0-0), une ligne centrale latérale (A-A) orthogonale à cette dernière, et définissant respectivement des axes longitudinal et latéral. Ledit article absorbant jetable comporte une feuille supérieure perméable aux liquides (24), une feuille de support (26) reliée à la feuille supérieure, et un noyau absorbant (28) placée entre les deux feuilles. L'article est sensiblement plat avant d'être utilisé. Il comporte également un élément (46) qui permet à l'article de prendre sa forme ou de se courber pour former une structure tridimensionnelle lorsqu'il est porté par l'utilisateur. L'élément (46) est activé par les liquides biologiques ou la chaleur du corps.
