A disposable breathing mask (1) comprising side walls (4, 5) and bottom walls (6, 7) made of multilayer filter material. The mask is attached to a user's head (2) by means of a strap (3) attached to attachment areas (25, 26). Joining the attachment points (25, 26) is a rib (27) which extends over the user's nose. The attachment points (25, 26) and rib (27) together form an exo- skeleton which maintains the positional stability of the strap mounting areas during donning of the mask. Arms (31, 32) extend laterally away from the rib (27) and are arranged such as to apply mild pressure to the side walls (4, 5) in the region of the user's nose so as to ensure contact between the filter material and the user's nose.

L'invention a trait à un masque respiratoire jetable (1) comportant des parois latérales (4, 5) et de base (6,7) fabriquées dans un matériau filtrant multicouche. Le masque est attaché à la tête de l'utilisateur par une bande (3) rattachée à des surfaces d'attachement (25, 26). Une membrure (27) joignant les points d'attachement (25,26) s'étend par dessus le nez de l'utilisateur. Les points d'attachement (25, 26) et la membrure (27) forment ensemble un squelette externe qui maintient la stabilité du positionnement des surfaces de fixation de la bande pendant l'application du masque. Des bras (31, 32) font saillie latéralement à partir de la membrure (27) et sont disposés de façon à exercer une pression douce sur les parois latérales (4, 5) au niveau du nez de l'utilisateur pour assurer le contact entre le matériau filtrant et le nez de l'utilisateur.
