ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable cover for temperature and respiration rate sensing apparatus having a temperature sensing probe and a housing defining a wind tunnel communicating with housing inlet and outlet openings at upstream and downstream ends of the wind tunnel, and a respiration sensor mounted in the wind tunnel. The cover comprises a removable covering for the probe and at least a portion of the housing, and an opening adapted to associate with the inlet opening to allow expired nasal air to flow through the wind tunnel.
