DISPOSABLE DIAPER WITH ADHESIVE TAPE TAB FASTENERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A disposable diaper comprising, diaper defined by peripheral edges and have an inside surface for direction toward the body of an infant when the diaper is worn by that infant and at least one tape fastener affixed to the diaper along a peripheral edge thereof. The tape fastener comprises a strip of tape having pressure sensitive adhesive material on a side thereof, a first portion of said strip of tape being adhe- sively secured to an outside surface of the diaper along said peripheral edge and a second portion of the strip extending back inwardly from said edge to overlie the inside surface of the diaper, with the second portion of the strip having pressure sensitive adhesive material on the side thereof facing said inside surface. A release sheet is secured to the inside sur- face of the diaper, and is overlaid by said second portion of the strip which is releasable from said adhesive material. The second portion of the strip is releasably adhesively attached by said adhesive material to said release sheet and is removable therefrom by peeling said second portion from the release sheet, with said first portion retaining the strip to the diaper after removal of the second portion.
