A disposable filter cartridge (1) for use in a hot beverage machine. The cartridge (1) comprises two spaced apart layers of porous filter material (10, 11) secured to a rigid or semi-rigid ring-shaped support (20) within which is contained the substance (5) to be infused. The cartridge (1) may further comprise internal separators (32, 33) extending inside the support (20) for dispersing the infusing substance (20) more equally within the cartridge (1) and for providing a more solid cartridge (1). The cartridge (1) is particularly useful to allow a user to prepare a hot beverage using an automated vending machine from a selection of infusing substances such as coffee flavors. The invention also encompasses a method to prepare a hot beverage using such cartridge (1) and a specially adapted machine for using the cartridge (1).
L'invention concerne un filtre à café ou analogue jetable (1) conçu pour un distributeur de boissons chaudes. Le filtre (1) comprend deux couches espacées de matière filtrante poreuse (10, 11) fixées à un support (20) rigide ou semi-rigide en forme annulaire lequel contient la substance (5) à infuser. Le filtre (1) peut comprendre en outre des éléments de séparation internes (32, 33) s'étendant dans le support (20) en vue de la dispersion de la substance à infuser (20) de manière plus égale dans le filtre (1) et en vue de l'apport d'un filtre plus solide. Ce filtre (1) se prête particulièrement à la préparation de boissons chaudes utilisant un distributeur automatique à partir d'une sélection de substances d'infusion, telles que des arômes café.
