ABSTRACT A disposable injection syringe having a very small volume of unusable injection liquid. The injection liquid is provided with a ruptur- able sealing member separating the injection liquid from the needle hub, and with a chamber in the needle hub between the needle and the sealing member, into which the sealing member can expand and be ruptured; the sealing member can be displaced by the plunger, so as to allow the plunger to move past the ruptured sealing member substantially all the way to the end of the chamber.
