A disposable nappy has a hook or loop fastener comprising panels of loop material on the front section of the nappy, and panels of hook material on the rear section of the nappy. To hold the panels in a closed position (FIG. 2) when the nappy is packed, a panel of loop materials is attached to the rear section of the nappy.
