A disposable pull-on diaper 1 having front and rear waist regions 6, 7 and a pair of tape fasteners 30 secured to an outer surface of the front waist region 6 or the rear waist region. 7. Tape member forming each of the tape fasteners 30 has a distal end portion 31 and a proximal end portion 32 wherein the distal end portion 31 is releasably attached to joining zones 15 along which the front and rear waist regions 6, 7 are joining together.
