ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A plastic disposable razor including a blade seat member and integral handle and having one or more blades, with a movable but permanently attached sliding cap or cover. The cap is movable on the blade seat member between a position in which it shields the edge of a blade or blades, and a position in which such edge or edges are exposed for shaving. The end margins of the blade seat member have upwardly facing recesses in which are movable stop elements formed on the inside of the cap, these stop elements defining the stroke of movement of the cap by contact with the ends of the recesses.
