ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable, disposable rodent trap comprises a housing having an internal, elongated tunnel-like passageway and an entrance opening through which a rodent can enter the passageway, means secured within the passageway for strangling the rodent, and means, triggerable by the rodent, for activating the strangling means, said strangling means being located at a distance from said entrance opening such that substantially the entire body of the rodent is located within the passageway when the strangling means is activated and in contact with the neck of the rodent.
