A beverage filter cartridge includes an outer container (12) with a bottom, and front (20), back and side walls (24, 26) extending upwardly from the bottom to a peripheral rim surrounding an upper opening. The side wall is contoured to define interior ledges (32, 34) located above the bottom and extending between the front and back walls. A planar filter element (14) having front, back and side edge regions is configured, dimensioned and positioned to subdivide the interior of the container into first and second chambers, with the front and back edge regions of the filter element secured respectively to the front and back walls of the container, and with side edge regions of the filter element secured to respective interior ledges of the container side walls. A beverage medium is stored in the first chamber. A cover (16) is joined to the container rim (28) to close the upper opening. The cover is yieldably piercable to accommodate an inflow of liquid into the first chamber for combination with the beverage medium to produce a beverage. The filter element is permeable to accommodate passage of the beverage from the first chamber into the second chamber, and the container bottom is yieldably piercable to accommodate an outflow of the beverage from the second chamber to the exterior of the cartridge.
L'invention concerne une cartouche filtrante pour boisson, qui comprend un boîtier extérieur (12) présentant une paroi de fond, une paroi avant (20), une paroi arrière et une paroi latérale (24, 26), lesquelles parois s'étendent vers le haut à partir du fond vers un bord périphérique entourant un ouverture supérieure. La paroi latérale est contrée pour délimiter des lèvres intérieures (32, 34) situées au-dessus du fond et s'étendant entre les parois avant et arrière. Un élément filtrant planaire (14) présentant des zones périphériques avant, arrière et latérale est configuré, dimensionné et mis en place pour subdiviser l'intérieur du boîtier en un premier compartiment et un second compartiment. Les zones périphériques avant et arrière de l'élément filtrant sont fixées respectivement aux parois avant et arrière du boîtier, et les bords latéraux de de l'élément filtrant sont fixés à des lèvres intérieures respectives des parois latérales du boîtier. Une matière de boisson est stockée dans le premier compartiment. Un couvercle (16) est fixé au bord du boîtier (28) pour fermer l'ouverture supérieure. Le couvercle peut être percé sans difficulté pour permettre à un liquide de passer dans le premier compartiment et se mélanger avec la matière de boisson afin de produire une boisson. L'élément filtrant est perméable au point de permettre le passage de la boisson du premier compartiment au second compartiment, et le fond du contenant peut être percé sans difficulté pour permettre l'écoulement de la boisson du second compartiment vers l'extérieur de la cartouche.
