DISSOCIATING IONICALLY CROSS-LINKED SILOXANE POLYMERS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A method is provided wherein ionically cross-linked zwitterionic siloxane polymers are solubilized by the addition of a weak base to a combination of the zwitterionic siloxane polymers and an organic solvent. Where a weak base having a high vapor pressure is utilized, the zwitterionic siloxane polymers can be recured by evaporation of the organic solvent and base.
