ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A control system for regulating the heat input to the reboiler section of a distillation (fractionation) col- umn. Flow-measuring means, for determining the quantity of vapor, passing upwardly from the reboiler section into the fractionation section (stripping and rectification), and in- ternally disposed within the reboiler section, provides a signal which is transmitted to the reboiler heater, thereby adjusting the fuel input thereto in order to regulate the degree of vaporization being effected therein.
