Disclosed is a distillation process for reducing the concentration of impurities dinitrogen difluoride and dinitrogen tetrafluoride in nitrogen trifluoride. The process comprises: (a) distilling a mixture comprising nitrogen trifluoride and dinitrogen difluoride and/or dinitrogen tetrafluoride in a distillation column in the presence of a compound having a higher normal boiling point than nitrogen trifluoride; (b) removing a mixture comprising dinitrogen difluoride and/or dinitrogen tetrafluoride as a sidedraw from the distillation column; (c) removing a mixture comprising the compound having a higher normal boiling point than nitrogen trifluoride from the bottom of the distillation column; and (d) removing a nitrogen trifluoride product having reduced concentration of dinitrogen difluoride and/or dinitrogen tetrafluoride from the top of the distillation column.
L'invention concerne un procédé de distillation permettant de réduire la concentration des impuretés de difluorure de diazote et de tétrafluorure de diazote dans un trifluorure d'azote. Le procédé consiste à: a) distiller un mélange comprenant un trifluorure d'azote et un difluorure de diazote et/ou un tétrafluorure de diazote dans une colonne de distillation, en présence d'un composé présentant un point d'ébullition normal supérieur à celui du trifluorure d'azote; b) retirer de la colonne de distillation un mélange comprenant le difluorure de diazote et/ou le tétrafluorure de diazote en tant que soutirage latéral; c) retirer du fond de la colonne de distillation un mélange comprenant un composé présentant un point d'ébullition normal supérieur à celui du trifluorure d'azote; et d) retirer de la tête de la colonne de distillation un produit du trifluorure d'azote présentant une concentration de difluorure de diazote et/ou un tétrafluorure de diazote réduite.
