The invention relates to a distributed control system made up of system components (1, 2, 3) containing information on the position thereof in the form of component-specific data representing spatial co-ordinates in a memory (11, 12, 13). Said components transmit information on their position via a communications channel (5) to a configuration unit (4). The component-specific data of the individual system components (1, 2, 3) is assigned to the configured components by means of a layout plan according to a tube and layout scheme. A physical address is distributed in each case, whereby a simple and error-protected configuration is provided. The invention is used in process apparatuses.

L'invention concerne un système de commande décentralisée comportant des composants d'installation (1, 2, 3) dont la position est stockée dans une mémoire (11, 12, 13), sous forme de données spécifiques à chaque composant et représentant leurs coordonnées spatiales, et est transmise par l'intermédiaire d'un canal de communication (5) à une unité de configuration (4). Les données spécifiques à chaque composant des composants d'installation individuels (1, 2, 3) sont affectées aux composants configurés, sur la base d'un plan d'installation similaire à un schéma de tuyauteries ou d'installation, et une adresse physique est attribuée auxdits composants. Ce système permet d'effectuer une configuration simple et fiable. L'invention s'utilise dans des appareils de processus.
