ABSTRACT The invention relates to a sealing element for the lateral closure of longitudinally divided distributor sleeves. The sealing element consists of two stable discs with resilient plates pressed therebetween. The discs and plates have coinciding cable inlet apertures, the diameter of the cable inlet aperatures in the resilient plates being smaller than that of the apertures in the stable discs, and than the minimal diameter of the cable to be introduced. When the cables are introduced, the resilient plates flare out, thus providing a tight seal.
